The Desert, My workplace

When you tell your superior that you have too much work and you cant finish them they might say, that's why you are paid at a monthly basis. If your work can finish, i might as well contract the work out to you.

To a certain extend, well its true... but i cant accept it

Many people in the same organization are given less work but they still enjoy the same pay. I always wondered why the hell i am doing more?

Opportunities? Career Development? Long term benefits? These are all currently untagible benefits and worse, its uncountable.

Honestly i dont even know what i am talking about now because i am lost. It feels like i am in a Desert with only a bottle of water. I do not know when will i be out of the desert or when i will find more water. I may die trying or maybe i will reach my goal.

the Desert is like my work, I do not know how far i should be walking. The water is like my motivation , i dont know when i will run out. My goal is like my Long term benefits, i dont know i will get it or i will die trying. Honestly if i knew i will die trying, i wont even try in the first place

A personal Story: My daughter

This is a story dedicated to my lovely daughter. For me, her beauty is no 2 among all the girls i've ever met. Who is no1? well you could have guessed it...


Sometime she really made me very angry but sometimes she is very sweet. Just take today for example, she woke up earlier than me and my wife and she climb up to our bed to kiss the both of us. After that, she climb back to her own bed.

Well this is the good side, the negative side is difficult to explain... Example could explain better... here is one: she likes to throw things although i had beaten her hands many time when she does it. Today, she threw a glass on the floor... what happen after that? of course she left behind a broken glass on the floor for her daddy to clean the mess

Now there are times where i would like to scold her but she knows how to tackle my heart. Let me tell you one example: yesterday, she played with my cigarettes. She torn several sticks of it and threw it on the floor. when i found out, she already emptied the whole new pack. I started scolding her for what she had done and she just smiled back sweetly. When i was cleaning the mess, i was still scolding and she came next to me patting me on my head softly and made me smile.What happen next? well of course i stopped scolding and she gave me some kisses and i gave her some too... my anger? down to zero

Its always amazing to discover what children can do. Every parents will easily surrender to these little negotiators. Step one: try to confront the person. if it fails, proceed to step 2: Give innocent look with watery eyes. if all else fails: Cry! If still fails: continue crying... Definately someone will come to rescue

Now she grown up. She understood more things and able to follow more commands. I am proud of her. Wherever she goes, she is always in the center of attention. Everyone pampered her. i am really afraid that she will grow up being a spoiled brat. Now its all up to me and my wife to make her to a well mannered girl.

The path is very long and bumpy but have my fingers crossed and hope she will grow up well. I am sure this blog is a very boring one but i dont care. Who knows one day she might be reading this. If really she in reading this one day, all i wanna say to her is that regardless of what she does, bad or good, she will always be my lovely daughter. You will always be forgiven as long as you say the magic word..."SORRY"

Long Time No blog

Now had come to the time where many things need to be planned out. Well it happens to me to. It is time like this where you need to predict what will happen in the next year.

Being “kind of” senior in my department I am also involved in some projects… Guess what, the project formats changed! What I had done since the beginning had gone down the drain… I will be required to redo my proposal!!!

Sad sad story… Anyway for the sake of money… no choice…

Another Person that says i should be a trainer

Well just last Friday i attended a training on "Strengthening People Management Skills at the Workplace". It was a great training where i honestly thinks that i learned a lot. Anyway, i met this Professor named Dr Edwin Varo who is an excellent trainer.

Again i was reminded that i could be a good trainer if i want to be one. Like most trainer, he knew i am an extrovert the moment he saw me. You see he is a psychologist on Organization Behavior so of course he can read people's attitude.

I spent some time talking to him when we are free and he told me that i should be a trainer. He says that i am a person that could never live alone. I must have people around me and have the skills to influence people. I also have the skill to keep others energetic.

Dr Edwin said my company needs more people like me who will be able to bring up the energy of others in the workplace. Well when i heard it, i was very proud of course.lol

Anyway he also said that i have some weakness. I wants acknowlegment in everything i do. To satisfy me, just praise me and things will be better... hahahah i am such an LOA (lacking on Attention).

At the end of the class, Dr Varo tld me that if i want to, he is willing to give me some oppurtunity to conduct some training. I asked him "will people listen to me? Since i am so young". He said "Yes, because i an influence people's mind". He told me to keep in touch with him

Well who know one day i might really become a good trainer. For a start, now i should get as much experience as possible so that when i speak in the future, i have more wise advise for people. My ex-boss Adrian did invite me to join his training team. Well i want him to know that "YES, i will join his team for some extra bucks to spend with my family"

Lets hope i will do a good job and will not ruin his reputation as a trainer. I sure hope what Dr Edwin told me is true. I really hope i can be a great trainer in the future. Now let's do it part time for a start... hehehe

Encounter with Spirits

I remembered about 3 years ago, my company organized an outing to Port Dickson. It was compulsory so most of us went. Due to budget constraints, we actually rented a very deserted hotel where i think hardly anyone would stay there

Anyway, the moment i saw the hotel i already feel eerie. You see the painting of the hotel looks as if it had not been maintained at least for more that 8 years. Besides that, the hotels have many lousy ornaments which dont seem right

Anyway we are just there to put a night and conduct some team building. So after the day's activities, we all returned to our rooms and i sent my wife back to her room. After a good night kiss we parted and i went back to my room

After about 30 minutes, my wife sms me saying " i am in Joanne's room. Just now we encountered something". We continued to sms and i told her i would like to see her. So i walked to the room(Joanne's room) to meet her but she said she is too afraid to open the door so i walk back.

Anyway when i got back to my room, my roommate was already sleeping soundly. He snored as if he is going to tear off the building. Anyway i laid on my bed and wanted to sleep. Soon, i felt my bed is vibrating. You know the kind like someone is pushing your bed many times... Its like a vibration of your mobile phone

I plucked up my courage to open my eyes... Then... i saw... nothing is there... After i closed my eyes again, the vibration began again... this time its harder and more violent. I opened my eyes again and still there is nothing

I stared to get a little pissed off and told them in Mandarin "I am going to be here only for a night. After this i will return home and you may have the room for yourself again. Please dont disturb me". After that, the vibration stops.

Just before i doze off, i felt the vibration started again. Since i am dead tired after the day's activities, i dont care and just slept.

The next morning, i asked my wife about her encounter. This is her story.

She and her roommate was just about to go to bed. Before that, my wife told her roommate that she is very tired and wanted to sleep. So just before they doze off, my wife heard someone humming some songs but she thought it was her roommate. Then her roommate scolded "I thought you are tired? Why are you humming song now?".

Immediately my wife answered "It wasn't me!". Just then, her roommate sat up took her pillow and dashed off the room. My wife saw her dashing and dashed off too. They went to Joanne's room and slept there that night.

Well that is the end of story of the haunted hotel. The next day, i was assigned by my wife to packe her bags for her as she is too afraid to go alone. She showed me where the music came from and i asked the person sleeping next door. She said she heard it too and she thought it was them and they dont care.As we are on the bus, i heard there are many others who encounter with such things

Nikon D90 Camera: Completed one of my wife's dream

Its been sometime since my wife wanted a camera. Well i promised her to buy one. Since i used my company camera (D40) i kind of liked taking pictures anyway.

I was today that me and my wife set off with a vision to buy D80. The reason we wanted D80 is because since its been in the market for some time, it could be cheaper. But we end up buying D90.

When i heard the price of the camera, i sank a little. WHY IS it SOOOOOOO expensive? But anyway we bought it in the end. Now i know i will not have much money to spend at least until Chinese New Year.

People might ask why do i still buy if its so expensive? My answer is to get to see a big smile on my wife's face and to fulfill a promise. I think its worth every penny because i will get to take beautiful pictures of my family

Honestly after buying the camera, i reeeaaallllyyy felt the sense of acomplishment. =) Now take a look at the box of the camera. Dont envy me ya! After this you will be able to see beautiful pictures on my blog...

How come work Candies never stop?

Its just yesterday that i met my director. Guess what! He is giving me more candies. Why dont they just stop. i already gave up hope of promotion in my current company. why do they want to remind me?

Anyway, it is said that i have a chance (again). I was told that in order for me to be able to promote i must be able to travel extensively. Below is a list of things that i must do to promote:-

1. Be able to travel. Tell my wife about it. Let her know i have to work. If not i will remain as executive and just take care of central (FAKE: Just want me to travel more)
2. Show my performance (FAKE: just want me to work more)
3. Dont joke too much

Ah hia... i dont want to listen liow. No need to tell me all these shits because i dont care anymore. Just let me do my work. Even if you dont tell me this i will also do my work. The more you try to tell me the more i feel irritated. Dont they know that?

Yes in the past i love to hear all these but after several diaspointments i hate it now.

Oh ya almost forgot. He even told me not to set too high goals for myself. He get to know from someone that i already set goals for myself which is to be at manager level by age 27. It was said that, my goals are pressuring me.

Hello! Let me remind you. You set company directions every year and your targets are always sky high. How come it doesn't pressure you? If i dont have goals for myself what is it that differs me froma salted fish?

Haih, the more i say the more angry i am. I am working now at the office.

My Defination of Marriage and Wedding

If you ask me what is the meaning of marriage and wedding well this is my idea. i have been thinking, why is marriage such a beautiful thing. We know we want to get married but how come many couples argue during wedding preperations?

Well thinking back, of course me and my wife have those moments where we argue especially during the preperations. When all is over, i can now be more relax. Well if its so difficult, why trouble yourself in the first place? For me, i can now tell everyone that we've been through the process and leave no regrets.

For me Marriage is...

1. A promise between the couples
2. A pact that i will protect my wife
3. A promise that i will take good care of my wife
4. An indication that i would like to start a family with my wife
5. Telling my wife i will grow old with her
6. I will shoulder all her burden
7. I will walk the path called "life" with her
8. telling my wife i will pick her up when she is down
9. i will be her shoulder where she can cry on
10. i will be her punching bag if she want something to hit
11. i will be there for her whenever she needs me
12. I will be her financial support, moral support or any other support that she needs

A wedding is...

1. A ceremony that shows my love
2. An event to tell all bachelors that she's mine
3. A day to share my joy to everyone who cared
4. A ceremony where i can thank my in laws for making my wife to a fine women
5. A day to show my parents that i had grown up
6. A day to express my gratitude to my parents for all the years they took care of me
7. A ceremony to ask all guest to be my witness that i keep my promise of our "marriage"(refer to the above meaning of marriage"
   

Now after this, i will be someone's parent. I will repeat the circle of life and now its my turn to take responsibility for my family. I need to make more money so that i can feed my family, I must live long enough so that my wife dont have to feel the pain of losing her husband and i must be strong enough to block any harm from my family and carry every burden for my family.

To which extend that i can do it? well i know i will try my best and this is a promise of a lifetime. Like what naruto will say, this is my way of ninja. hahahah

No Gambling Luck in Genting

I spent 1 night in Genting Highland and of course gamble. Hey its my first time getting a world card. I registered a world card and off i go (gambling).

I spent 5 hours at the casino and came back RM 30 richer... hahahaha... yup just RM30.

Anyway it's better than losing right?

You know what... my world card has a very ugly picture of myself.

A night at Highland Hotel Mandarin Suite

I never thought i will be staying at a suite when my company invited me to witness my boss's award ceremony. Anyway i am. Few gentlemen along with myself share this suite with one f our director. It is a secial suite for Platinum vard members.

This place is huge. it has 2 rooms, 1 hall and 3 bathrooms. i is beautiful with a i think 30++ inch lcd at the hall. It was beautiful bt of course costly to stay.

The room i was staying is know as mandarin suite where its design is more chinese. i am not sure how the other rooms look like but i am very sure that it will be like what their name suggests.

Well i do eremember suites like hollywood suite, malaysian suite, and many more. You know only 5 of us re staying in this suite. glad to be here this year

The view from the room was also facinating. I get the same view when i was in the toilet. Though it was only one day but it was great

The most successful Diet Program

Ladies and Gentleman, i would like to share a diest program that is most successful. this program involves some pain but a very good reduction on food consumption and thus you will be slimmer at the end of it.

Yes... in order to diet, one must force themselves to reduce food consumption right? well the pror\gram is very simple. just get yourself food poisoning. then you will start to vomit everything that you eat and then you will lose your appetite to eat.

I got this program by accident and now i feel that i am slimmer. i have not checked how much i had reduced but i am sure it will be a lot. You see since october 12th evening, i have not been eating much.

October 12 dinner, i had taken instant noodles and it all got vomited out so its = did not eat. October 13 morning i did not eat anything. During lunch, my wife bought a packet of porridge but i only finish half of it.

As for dinner, i only take a very small portion. Eventhough i had taken very little food, i do not feel like eating at all. i just sleep the rest of the day. Aint that great. Try it out yourself. i am sure you will be successful at diet. Well i am sure i do not want to do that again... :)

Working on Saturdays...

Its saturday now but i am working in office. Now that my wedding is over i will assume that i will have to work for many saturdays. Why? because i no longer have excuse of not coming

Another award won by my company

Well I had been notified that my boss had been awarded again. This time I am also invited to go to the function at genting highland. Of course for me its an honour and glad to go.

This is my second time attending an award ceremony with my boss. The first was last year when he was awarded as Outstanding entrepreneur and this time it’s the golden bull award.

Anyway this is the 3rd time my boss was awarded the golden bull award. Well I am looking forward to the function. I will take this opportunity to learn. Who knows I might be one of them in the near future

"Brothers" of the groom

You know during weddings, "Brothers" of the groom are always victims to help the groom. In the pasts i dont see the importance of "brothers" until the day of my wedding ad how much help they had offered.

During the day, Brothers will have to assist the groom to get the hands of the bride for the groom. for that, we need to clear stages of challenges that the "sisters" of the bride had prepared.

For my wedding, i think its a tough one but it turns out smooth in the end. Let me tell you what the Nasty "sisters" had prepared for me

The moment we got there, the sisters prepares a scoop and a metal plate. I (the groom) will have to tie the scoop near my penis (with cloths on of course) and one of my brother will have to hold the metal plate at his rear(buttocks). My objective is to hit the plate three times as loud as possible. I used my leg to kick the scoop to make the sound but the sisters disqualified me. So i will have to do it again

When we got to the second stage, 2 of my brothers are to be volunteered to be given make up and dressed as a women. They will have to then dance and entertain the sisters. Man it was hilarious. All of us brothers and sisters enjoyed the show

Third stage, 2 of the brothers are to do Yoga. Since none of us are that flexible, the 2 brothers just try to do split as far as possible. Well thanks to some kind hearted sisters, they let us pass even though its not as what they wanted.

Fourth stage, All brothers to do 20 time pumping with their heads very nearby where they can hit their head when they go down. The groom have special privellage where he only needs to do 10.

fifth stage, pulling leg hair. Every brothers are given tapes to stick on their legs. Lucky for us, the sisters bought some lousy tape where the hair wont stick. painlessly we pass the test

Sixth stage is where the groom is required to tie a banana near his penis and one of the brothers to eat it. I cheated by moving the banana high neat my chest and asked my brother to quickly bit it off. Since they only have one banana they have no choice but to pass me.

There is also one stage where one of the brothers to insert an apple from the right leg of the groom and move it out at the left leg in the groom’s trousers. Luckily, my trousers are not the tight ones. Else, they might get additional 2 eggs out.

Of couse we cant skip the eating test of Bitter, Sweet, Sour and Hot (spicy).

First we were given spicy. Banana with lots of wasabi and cream crackers with wasabi and chilli padi. For me hot is an easy task. I alone had taken 4 of those crackers without problem. For the others, it no easy task.

Next we were given Sour. I totally surrender this because I cant take sour. We were given 2 cups of a mixture of only god knows what. My guess of the mixture is white vinegar added with lemon juice and sour plum. This mixture is one awful one. One of my brother end up puking 3 times that day.

When it comes to bitter, one drunkard brother smiled and say, let me do it. We were given a cup of guiness stout and asked to finish it at one gulp. Don’t worry my brother can finish it at no time.

Last is sweet. We were given Coca cola in milk bottles. We cheated by biting off the teats and drank it. EASY!!!

Before opening the door, I have to sing a song and brothers sang along. I gave the ang pow to the sisters and I got my wife. Happy ending.

At night, during the wedding banquet, my brothers followed me to cheers with my guests. Since I am no good with alcohol, they drank on my behalf. Before I finish 10 tables, I am already a little drunk. They rest of it, they drank for me.

At any moment if anyone wanna make me drink, they stood in front of me and challenge the challengers. If it wasn`t for them I would have been drunk at the 10th table.

Honestly, I am very very glad that I have a bunch of brothers like them. They helped me without complain and willing to walk the extra mile for me. I will remember this and return the favour in the future

Generous friends at my wedding

Well like i mentioned in earier posts, i had just recently put up a banquet to celebrate my wedding. Well like all Chinese family, Friends and family will help the newly weds by giving ang pow when they turn up for the banquet.

During my banquet, i really saw there are many generous people who actually gave huge Ang Pows to me. Well i am proud to say that i really have a bunch of good friends who will be there for me.

Among the biggest red packet i recieved is from my boss (MD of my current company) which really suprised me. Honestly i never expect it. Next to it is my elder brother's girlfriend's family which is also suprisingly high.

With these money, my parents are able to cover the costs of having this banquet. I am glad that it doesn't increase my debts as my current debts is already very high. Now that its finally over and debts are getting smaller,i really hope that i could get my wife the camera that she had always desired.

The next thing is to return the red packets. Most of my friends are not married yet so when they do, i will have to return the favor by assisting them generously during their wedding.

Here is a story of me and my wife. This shows how f\time flies and how we grow old to meet each other. Glad that i met her.

Of course there are times where we argue and be angry at each other but there is nothing else we could do but to compromise. If we dont, nothing could work out

When we argue, we usually hate each other for some time (maybe a minute, maybe an hour or more) but someone will have to make the first move to rebuild the relationship. Sometimes its me sometimes its her. BUT always remember to forgive and forget

2 Days before wedding

Well things had went well as planned. My family and i all bought some new clothes but they have problem matching their cloths. Since its my wedding, they all came to ask advise. i may not be a professional fashion consultant but i acted as one... with my wife of course

Since my family do not have much "Pantang" so we an wer as we wish but i required the guys to wear tie and my sister to wear dress. if funny how everyone co-operated. Wel its nice...

Since my brothers do not have ties, i will have to search through the whole of my wardrobe to match some ties for them

Younger Sister - Dress bought by my wife. and also heels. Its the first time she looks so femine. proud of her.

It was on this day (2 days before the event) that everyone did a fashion show and everyone in the family enjoyed this time.

We als done many ast minute preperations such as getting the bridal gown, communicating to the restaurant on our wants, Sisters to discuss on the ways to trick the brothers.

Well you will feel there are one million and one things that you might have forgotten. But dont sweat it. As and old saying says "The ship will be straight as it nears the dock". Wel its true. Many unplanned unwanted things turn out to be great and we manage to accept it. Or in other occations what we did not plan turns out to be a good thing. Trust me, dont worry too much. It will all end up well

Days of my wedding

Well it had been a tiring week but its also a wonderful one. I am glad i chose to have the dinner and do the things as customed instead of just travel marriage.

I am also glad that my wife enjoyed it. i am sure she will be posting the wedding blogs very soon. Well she had been very tired with the things we have to do. i will be posting blogs by blogs of how my wedding went. Stay tuned because i am also very tired now. just finish the dinner

I can bet that girlfriend is a paid girlfriend. I understand that these paid girlfriends can be "rented" for a day and in order to make his money worth while he must have done it many times.

What?!?! Who bully who?

Muahaha... Recently my baby is bullying my wife very often. About 2 days ago while i was driving home, i gave my wife a call to tell her that i am on the way home. Then over the phone, my wife said ok and said she is busy now.

From the phone i can hear my wife and baby laughing very loud. YUP! my baby is tickling my wife. My wife would like to hang up but i refuse. listening to the playing over the phone makes me imagine what is going on there and i feel i am there

Though alone, i am smiling. Even now, while writing this blog i am smiling too. its very sweet i think...

Yesterday my wife and i played my daughter. First i called "Yu Shuen, Hug Papa!" and after she hugged me, my wife called out "Yu Shuen, Hug Mami!" then its my turn to repeat. After a few rounds by baby shouted "Ekk! wou wou wou" while laughing. She gave me and my wife an impression that she was saying "Hoi, leng chai wan ye ah!" (translated: Hoi boy, play me arr?)

Well i enjoyed that moment and i am sure my wife do too.

Well my daughter is growing fast. i need to put in double the effort to earn sufficient money for living. Lets see if i can progress in my career.

Countdown to my wedding. 3 days to go

Well, its just days away from my wedding and i have a very complicated feeling about it. Mixed feeling i would say. you see i am feeling excited and worried at the same time. I am also nervous but looking forward to it. I had done many things as preperation but at the same time thinks that i might miss out something.

I would like to ask many people if i missed out anything but i have to one to ask. Well now all i could do is have my fingers crossed and hope everything goes smoothly. Its a one in a life time event and i do not wanna spoil it. It will haunt me for the rest of my life.

I am also worried about my wife who dislike attention. she will always run away if she is in the spot light. I made a promise to her that i will hold her hands throughout the event. i will never let go!

This hand of hers shall remain stucked to mine and i all carry all her weight.
I promise! Its a promise of a lifetime without expiry date

53 years old but still horny… Speechless

Read it on www.thestar.com.my where there is a 53 years old who took advantage of his 13 years old sister in law and silenced her with materialistic gifts such as mobile phones or cash.

Despite the fact that he already have 3 wives, he still want to find other “food” to eat. Come on, this had been going on for 3 years which means he started when the girl was 10?!?! BEAST!!!

To make matter worse, all three of his wifes are in their 20s… Totally a cradle snatcher.

I can’t believe this only comes to light after 3 years. I am just thinking that I will kill him if it happens to my daughter

Unfair Law?

I read The Star online yesterday and I read this particular article that really caught my attention. A Pimp was caught for offering sex service to an undercover police and was sentenced to 1 month jail. Well fair enough since he broke the law and caught red-handed.

But below the same article, there was also an article of a security guard who got caught for stealing 5 bottles of baby oil or something. It happens in the same court (as mentioned by newspaper) but this guard was sentenced to 2 months of jail.

Now here is the question. Which is bigger crime? Pimping or Stealing baby oil? If you ask me, judging from the way people had been sentenced in these cases, pimping is a very small crime since its just half as bad as stealing 5 bottles of baby oil.

Magic the gathering: Reminds me of my days at highschool

I still remember the days where i spend money and time playing this game with my classmates. If i do remember correctly, few friends of mine who played this game with me are Ewan, Alvin Lim, Hyon Le, Hian Quan and many more. We spend almost the whole day together playing this game.

Well for myself, i have prepared many decks and I always loved my black deck. You see i love seeing my classmates getting frustrated when i terror their creatures and how i resurrect my dead creature from the graveyard.

When i play black, my objective is to finish the game fast because black needs lots of sacrifice. before i lose all my creatures, its better that i kill them fast.

All my decks are made in a standard format where i have 20 lands in every deck. if i am combining more than one colour, i will have a maximum of 2 colours.

I also loved to see my friends when i play my white deck. Man it was great. You guys heard of the card worship? well its an enchantment card where as long as i have creatures in play my life will never go less than 1. Putting this with a combo of a enchant creature card which prevents all damages done to the creature and then add "Mask of Law and Grace" which protects the creature from black and red spells. the moment this combo is out, the eyes of my classmates will fall especially if they are playing black or red. Just to be on the safe side, i have 2 worship, the prevent damage card (i think its invincible) 4 and Mask of law and grace 2. this way i seriously wont die

I also have a combo of Red and green where i have 4 disintegrate cards, and other cards that deals damage directly to the player. the motive of this combination is to allow green to boost mana and red to deal direct damage. This deck is made with lots of elves with low casting costs and these elves could be tapped for mana. combine this with a green land card (gaea's Cradle)which gives you 1 mana for each creature you own in play. then combine with red creatures which are not effected by summoning sickness to attack fast.

Of all colours i just cant play blue. i am not good at planning counters. well my younger brother Hock Seong loved this colour. he really get me mad with all the counters and returning creatures and enchantments to owner's hands. Hyon Le is also another brat who loves counter.

Among my friends, i have decks of all the other four colours (except blue because i gave all the blue cards to my bro), Ewan have all colours which he modifies all the time, Alvin loves to play red and loves to anger people by destroying lands.

Man those were the days. Yesterday while i was tidying my house i found my decks back and i really wanted to play the game again. i have been searching high and low for a game of magic so that i can play them whenever i have free time. i spent mush time looking for this game (software) to play but in vain.

There is also this collegue of mine (new BDE) who also plays this game. Hope i can really find this game so that i can duel AI. i remember vendors used to sell a Magic game but i forgotten its name

Cant believe i am working on Public Holiday

Its 22nd September 2009 and its supposed to be a public holiday and i am working. I am supposed to loiter at home together with my family instead of sitting down at the shop assisting sales and working as a Sales Assistant.

Anyway though its raya but here i am standing in front of the shop's computer writing this blog. Am i demotivated? Well i got replacement off day for this so i am not really that frustrated. i could use this replacement off day to better use like preparing my wedding banquet...

Anyway there are no customers so i used most of my time surfing the web and doing nothing. Its only 2pm an i am almost bored to death. I just finish a phone conversation with my wife and the is happily lying down on a couch and doing nothing at all. MAN THATS LIFE...

Since my bedroom set have no arriced, i am prepared to take 3oth as the replacement off for beautifying my room...

Anyway i do not know what more to write... when i feel like it i might write more posts today since i am stucked here for 12 hours. well i have 8 more hours to go

Good News, Bad News. The final wolf story

Yesterday I got a phone call from my boss with one good news and one bad news.

Good news: The wolf is leaving the forest
Bad News: I will have to replace her in a certain project

Well its all not that bad. Although I god more jobs to do but I am not so angry about it. Why? Maybe its because I wont have to be so careful during meeting. At least, I can rest a little when dealing with internal staffs. At least I have one less worry while working.

I know many will tell me that 1 wolf gone, other wolf will come up. Well its expected but I know I will have at least 2 weeks of peace. She is finally gone and that is not good news. Its GREAT News

In the end can i say i won the battle since i stayed longer? (although i did not do anything)

Latest Telephone... Looks like a garbage bin

Yesterday, (17/09/09) I was conducting some survey with 2 of my colleagues to look for new locations to set up new Distribution Centre. While we are at it, we saw something fascinating.

Yup the picture shows Telefon Awam but in it you can’t find any telephone. What can you see? Yes, it’s a garbage bin. Maybe this is the latest design of telephone where the phone looks like a garbage bin but I never check it out.

This picture is taken in Selayang, where we go straight from Batu Caves. It really made my day…

Conned by Wescourt twice on delivery. Very bad experience

It all began last Saturday 12th Sept 2009 when this particular company conned me for the first time. I bought one bedroom set which consist of a bed, a wardrobe, a dressing table and a side table. On the 9th we requested through telephone to ask for a delivery on 12th regardless of the time. Then on the tenth, my wife followed up and then the delivery is confirmed

On the 11th night, my wife and I started to remove all our clothes from our existing wardrobe and on the 12th morning, we started waiting because they have not confirmed a time. At about 11am, we called and this is our conversation.

Us: Hello Zhong, This is Kenny. What time will our furniture arrived?
Zhong: Kenny… oh There will be no delivery today. We tried to call to confirm but there was some problem
Us: What problem? I thought we confirmed that there will be a delivery today?
Zhong: Yesterday I called and an uncle picked up the phone. When I asked about Kenny, he mentioned that Kenny? Kenny went to London already. That uncle sounds like a person who can only speak English and Hokkien.
Us: Huh?! Impossible. We are the one holding the phone. Impossible someone else answer
Zhong: But it’s the fact
Us: Ok I don’t care who answered the phone but I need delivery to be done today
Zhong: Ok I will arrange for you. Call you back before 3pm

At 4pm Zhong did not call back and I called back

Us: Hello Zhong, I thought you are supposed to call back?
Zhong: oh, the delivery wasn`t able to be arranged
Us: Huh, still you need to tell me right?
Zhong: …
Us: ok now what can I do? When is the earliest for delivery? Now that it came to this situation, I would like you to delivery on weekdays after 6 can this be done?
Zhong: Wednesday is the soonest
Us: I want it on Tuesday
Zhong: I need to arrange but I will call to confirm with you
Us: Ok but make sure you call me. Now its Chinese calendar july so there are lots of ghost
Zhong: Yup…

Later…
Zhong: Hello Kenny. Delivery confirmed on Tusday after 6. My HQ will call to confirm again
Us: ok Thanks

14th morning.

Girl: Hello is this xxx xxxx Yeong? I am from westcourt and would like to confirm your delivery of a bedroom set on Tuesday. The delivery will be on the morning 10am.
Me: Huh?!?!? Hello, the delivery is supposed to be evening after six. I am working so no one will be there to collect the delivery
Girl: But you place is in Klang so you are the first place to go. Our office is in Sg buloh. So you must collect earlier
Me: You don’t understand what I said earlier? I am working. Even if you send no one will be there to collect. How are you going to deliver?
Girl: oh ok, I will call you back.

14th night 8pm
Girl: Mr Lee your delivery will be between 4pm to 6pm tomorrow. Is it ok?
Me: Hey don’t you understand? I am working. We can only collect after 6pm.
Girl: Ya I know, although I put it as 4pm but we will usually be late. Don’t worry, we will call you before coming
Me: Even if you called, and I am not home, who is going to deliver?
Girl: its ok. It will arrive after 6pm
Me: ok

Finally the time had arrived. Since my wife could slack off work, she waited at home at 4pm and called Zhong to tell him that delivery could be done anytime now. Zhong’s answer is “he is on the way”

At 5pm, my wife called again and the answer is “the lorry is already at klang and will reach you soon after he is done with one delivery”

At 5:30 pm my wife called again and the answer is “ The lorry driver ask not to hurry him because he is also working now”

6.15 pm I called and he said “he is reaching you and will give you a call before coming”. I asked to give a time and Zhong said “7.15pm”

I reached home at 7.30pm and went to take my dinner. At 8pm, I called and this is our conversation
Me: Hello Zhong, you told my wife on the way since 4pm. With 4 hours you can reach penang already
Zhong: He have not arrived? Well I will have to kill him. I will call you back in 5 minutes

10 minutes later I called back at least 5 time but no answer. Then later someone else called me

Guy: Hello I would like to make a delivery to you and may I know where is your house?
Me: oh ok I am waiting for you. What time can you arrive?
Guy: about 8.30pm. I am now in Shah Alam
Me: ok which way are you coming?
Guy: Kesas
Me: explained the route…

At 8.30pm I called back the driver
Me: Where are you now?
Guy: near the police station which is beside the bomba
Me: I thought you are coming from Kesas?
Guy: oh we decided to use federal instead
Me: ok

I told my wife they are reaching and we waited downstairs. 20 minutes later they arrived and we are very happy. There is nothing but smiles on my face then soon my wife noticed something… the set is all brown and we ordered all white.

Immediately I called Zhong on his mobile but he never pick up. I called at least more than 10 times. I rejected all the delivery and asked them to take all back except a mattress since its ok.

After that, my wife and I went straight to Westcourt Bukit tinggi and reason with Zhong. After making tons of noises there, Zhong decided to replace our set and the delivery will be made after Raya

During our reasoning, Zhong even tested us if we are lying. He let us choose the colours and asked which colour of white is it? One if the white is just launched recently so it’s a trap. Luckily I still remember the colour or else he might say we are lying.

Now I am still for a confirm delivery date of my actual bedroom set. Anyway I am running out of time since my wedding is just 2 weeks away.

If you guy did but furniture from the above mentioned shop, do remember to check all the invoices and everything. The important thing is to follow up and remember what you said with them and also what they said to you. Take my experience and advice. It always better safe than sorry

Don’t be like me now my floor is my wardrobe and my bed. Luckily I did not remove my mattress. All my things are on the floor. My baby’s bed is also my wardrobe and my laundry basket is used to keep my other stuffs. My knapsack is used to keep Chermaine’s hanky and also my bed sheets. Chermaine’s bath tub is used to keep my stuffs too. It’s really a pain at the eye to see such pathetic bedroom. Damn I am angry!

Finishing HOT Pork Noodles in 10 minutes! One great pasar malam trip

It was another common family day for me last Saturday where I drove my wife, sister and daughter to the Setia Alam Pasar Malam. It all went smooth and we enjoyed our shopping there.
When its time to head back, we notice that we have not bought any dinner (that’s one of our purposes to go) and so we headed to the nearest restaurant to have our dinner there.

And then things became very smelly! YES my daughter baked chocolate cake and guess what my wife and I did not bring any diapers! Well I already finished my dinner then but my sister’s pork noodle have not arrive.

HAHAHA… since we have to be fast, My wife fed Chermaine the pork noodle very fast too and my sister ate very fast too. As for me I walked to get the car and the moment I arrived, they already finish dinner… Man that was fast

When I asked my sister how did the noodle taste? She answered “Don’t ask. I ate so fast that I forgot to taste the noodle”.

Then the moment the 3 ladies got on my car, the strong scent of chocolate cake drowned all other scents in the car. Thank goodness we are already used to the scent. Hey its all not that gross! My wife can continue to enjoy her “Mua Chi” despite the scent.

The moment we reached home, My sister felt that Malaysia’s air is very fresh. Well I must say it’s a very torturing 15 minutes trip home for her since she is seating with Chermaine at the back seat.

That marks the end of our beautiful Pasar Malam Trip… The End…

Air Asia's assigned seats. Good or bad move?

Do you still remember the days where all passengers queued up 45 minutes before boarding? Do you still remember how all the kiasus stood there just to get the best seats? You remember how many walk to the plane extremely fast? Well those no longer happen

Ever since Air Asia changed to assigned seats, I notice that planes often fly late because people take their own sweet time to board the plane. I saw that when I was boarding to Kuching and when I came back.

Last time, we seldom hear Air Asia announcing passengers names asking them to board the plane but recently, there are many people being called. What does this means? Guess it yourself lah.

Honestly why does these people have to do this? Don’t they know it’s inconvenient for others when they are lingering around? Why don’t they just be there on time? Its obvious that they are already there since we have to check in 45 minutes earlier.

If you don’t believe me, try seeing it yourself the next time you board the plane. You will notice what I saw.

Well this is also a good sign because now people don’t bang you on the gate anymore. People do line up a proper line nowadays. I think nowadays, it safer to walk because people don’t rush anymore.

So do you think it’s a good move to have assigned seats? For me I think its good since I often never been one of the kiasu (except that time when I need to send my wife back to kuching). Things will be better if passengers just have some sense of time and be at the boarding punctual.

If every passengers do their part, I am sure we will be able to fly on time.

Back from Kuching

Well i would like to applaud for air asia this time... It was a smooth journey to and back this time. Besides that, my daughter slept the whole journey to and back.

I was afraid that my daughter's earss would hurt and she will be restless. Now i know she can travel. Really looking forward to our next journey

Why use English for IT stuffs?

Why Malaysian Government insists on using English for math and science? This is because the whole world uses the language as an information and/or technology language. How dangerous it will be if we try to use Bahasa, especially in school.

The hungry ghost festival

It is now again the time of the seventh month of lunar Calender. the seventh month is the ghost month where gates to heaven and hell will be opened. it is at this time of the chinese year that many fear and be extra careful in every thing they do During after the 14th night of the 7th month, the gates will be opened and all the residents of the realm of the dead will be released to the realm of the living. According to Chinese beliefs, the living shall offer food for the hungry ghosts.

It is at this time where you will see many Chinese will place food behind their house on paper plates and all foods are served on disposable plates and pots. It is believed that one must not take back whatever that had been offered to the ghost because there is a possibility that they will follow you home.

Yup i am one of the believers. Annually the temple which i frequently visit will hold an offering to the hungry ghosts and in return they will not only not disturb us but also assist us if we are in need of help. You know just like humans, there are many times where police cant be of help and you will seek help from the black market

Most families offer their offerings on the 14th night but in my temple, it is held on the 15th.

It is also at this month where you will see many accidents and deaths happening around you. if you did not notice it try to take a look around your house. just like today during my survey to find new locations, i saw at least 3 ambulance running up and down. there was one time where i saw 2 ambulance at the same time coming from 2 different directions

I have a friend who is doing canvass rental business and he also confirmed that on the 7th month of the lunar calender, it is his (highest sales) or also known as peak season of his business.

I always tell my family and friends to be extra careful during this months. Accident dont only happen on the road. even at work stations. therefore, during this month i will keep scissors and blades in safe places.

When i read wikipedia about hungry ghost festival, it is also mentioned that the deceased will pay a visit to their family during this time. i wonder if my grandma came? Well i guess i will never find the answer anyway i might as well just drop the question.

So readers, please be extra careful during this month. my practice is to be careful until mooncake festival. why so long? because it wouldn't hurt to be careful for a longer time right? Well good luck
