I had been thinking that are we protected by law? You see i am currently working in an organization that is victimising me and always forcing me to work on weekends. If there are any HR experts who knows somthing about this please tell me what can i do?
I am forced to work during weekends without compensation or replacement leaves. I understand that Employement ACT 1955 says that there must at least be one rest day for employees in a week and we cant work fr more than a certain amount of hours. BUT unfortunately i also understands that this act only protects those whose their salary is below RM 1500 or those who are doing manual work
PLEASE i am begging for some expert to tell me or redirect me to a path of light which i could use it to defend myself. I cant be working 19 days straight. I dont want to be victimized

Is the fair successful?
Well i had been making a rough calculation on monday and i had figured out that the fair is not successful this year. Why do i say that? simple.
We made more transactions this year but the goods are a lot cheaper. so after selling so hard, we cant even make enough to beat last years record. I recorded 16,000 last year with minimum budget and less products.
Last year i only have no more than 20 SKUs and this year i have about 70 SKUs yet its less. Why? because the selling price is too cheap. You see at treats fair, everyone's motive is to burn points. they basically dont care about the price. My selling price last year was about RM100 per item but this year its only RM 40.
In other words, i need to double my effort to hit higher sales.
Well, with such results i am sure the wolf will say something and push the blame to me.I hope whatever preperation that i had prepared is sufficient to defend myself. Dont worry i will update you guys when i have the results. Just be patint and maybe you will be able to learn more about office politics from my experience

Working for another weekend?!?!?!? FARK!!!
Today is definately another bad day for me. I have a meeting with a client outside today and on my way there, i recieved a phone call from office and had been told that i will be needed to work this sunday. I was pissed off and thought of resigning again. Later i called my wife and my anger reduces because i remembered that i should not fight with money
After the meeting with the client, I suddenly remembered that i need to be a trainer this afternoon. I imediately drove home to change to my shirt as i am wearing a Uniform T-Shirt. I continued the training and it went through smoothly(luckily). The reason i said i was lucky is because i have not read the slides and i have no idea what i am about to speak. within 15 minutes i tried to understand what its all about and it all went well.
After the training, I read my email and i notice that i am also needed to work on Saturday. DAMN What kind of company will require their employees to work 19 days straight!!!!!
I started bitching to my boss, my monitor (a person assigned to assist my projects), and My collegue who is in charge of the project that requires me to work on weekends. From what i know, from their reactions, they will not do anything for me. I know they wont ask the management on my behalf. The questions is what am i going to avoid working on this weekend?

Let me share with you a story of a poor piggy (me) who lives in a wild jungle (my company). Here are some stars of the story

During the evening, there had been a phone call to the wolf from the lion king. it is said that there is no parking at the exhibition area and the lion king will not visit today. The wolf looks disapointed and not long later the wolf left.
From this story i am sure that many might be able to learn how to apple polish effectively. Be the wolf and your boss will recognise you but be repared that many others will hate you and ensure your down fall.

Good things happened during those 4 days too. During the four days event, many came to visit. I am not sure if they came on purpose to visit or just there to participate the fair. but i am glad they showed up. Below are the details of friends who came:-

I am glad that i am a nice guy and have many friends around. This really proves that the theory "Treat people the way you want to be treated" is accurate. If one always help others, other will help if one needs help. If you act as the wolf to others, others will always try to kill you off.

14 hours a day, 4 days straight
Ladies and gentlemen,
I had been working for more than 14 hours a day for 4 days straight. This really took a toll on me as now at the fifth day i am lying on my bed with a bad sore throat, stuffy nose and fever.
Many may be asking why did i do that? Am i mad? Well, i am left with no choice. Most collegues of mine do not know how to deal with the problems at the fair. You see i can say that i am the only one who knows how things works there. i have been asking myself what if i resigned? can they be independant?
anyway ther are many things that happened during the event days. At day 1, the wolf was there with us howling and barking at us. even her own subordinates prayed that she leave as soon as possible. She is not much of a help but i can predict why she stayed with us for quite some time. It is because it is heard that my managing director will come to visit on the first day.
Anyway there will be a more detailed report for the fourdays of the event. Wanna know more? wait for my other postings

Dear readers,
MBB Treats fair will be starting tomorrow. I will be there working like a dog. The bad news is Miss Wolf will be there to check on my job. If she really f*#@ed me up i will write another blog. maybe there will be another jungle story to share?

Today is my 26th birthday. 22/07/09.
It is a hitorical moment. after 3-4 years of being a couch potato, i finally made the first step to exercise. I played badminton!!! hahaha... although i am late but at least i played for 30 minutes.
This will be my first step of keeping fit! Yeah baby!

I finally realized i am very very fat!!!
I know that i had been getting fat but today i am actually wearing an XXL T-shirt. Yup its a double X L. No hope... i fear for myself.
you see most people that die young are usually fat. the no1 killer in Malaysia is also caused by fats! I must live longer than my wife. I wanna let her leave me compared to i leave her.
i know it will be difficult for her if i die. She will have to go through the sadness of losing her husband while i sleep eternally. NOT FAIR... that is something that i know she will say.
SO i am now very determined! I will exercise. I will keep fit. Quit smoking will only come later

My Ex-boss case
Recently i just saw my HR getting information from many people to defend the company from a lawsuit by my ex-manager. hopefully my ex-mamager will win the war! i will always support him. Lets all hope that he won the case.
Its not that i get any benefit but i really hope someone can teach my company a lesson. I really hope that after this my directors will put on their glasses when they thrust somebody.

Another collegue left the jungle
I heard another collegue of mine leaving this friday. He just joined my company a month ago and he is already very negetive with the company. Fast? well he had been thinking about resigning on the first day he met me.
He told me many things which is negative that he saw. What can i do? i can only comfort him and finally he resigned.
I think i am a nice guy and makes friends easily but why do i get betrayed so often? I think i must become real bad to be in the corporate world. all that i see is that it is usually the wolf that survive
I will learn to be more cunning and plan for the wolf's downfall. its either she die or i die.

Many things had changed i wrote my blog. I was too busy with my work. What am i busy of? well i had been assigned many jobs. Why? because my new boss said he is overloaded and since i am a senior i must help him.
Tasks that had been assigned to me? Well i had been recruited to follow up on some franchise programs, Managing and leading an exhibition team, Managing and maintaining sales of Central and East malaysia region, Training my fellow collegues and handling promotional items.
Its easy for a boss to say that he is overloaded and pass the jobs down. HEY!!! i have no subordinates to pass the job lower and so i will have to do it myself. Here are the problems i faced:-
Recruited into franchise things took up much of my time. I will have to give talks to intrested candidates. I have to work on weekends and ignore my family. i will have to follow up with the franhisees that had been approved.
LEading exhibition team is another difficult task. You see in my team is filled with spies. there are many people that had been assigned by "the wolf" in my team and every of my action is being watched. to make matters worse i am just a puppet that act between the actual tasks and the wolf. At any time i might be put on the table and serve as a scrapegoat.
Maintaining sales is worse. i cant even find time to be on the field. how can i maintain it? without knowledge of the actual market i cant really plan proper strategies to cater to the market. No intellegence = bad decisions. this is the "thing" that had been happening. its just the matter of time before something happen
Training... sigh... back to my old portfolio. it is because i dislike training that causes me to request to be back to Business Development and leave HR. Now they just throw the job to me. Now i will have to spend time researching on how to train well and worse i am in a 3 man team which consist of My boss, a training manager and myself. Being the lowest rank i have no say and have to do most of the leg work!
Handling promotion matter is very dangerous. i am stepping on the line between land and hell. if i do things right, its expected. if i did things wrong i will be very heavily blamed. If i forget something 10 million people will shoot me down. my future is at risk
You see many things are happening and without proper information, i will have to be very cautious with what i am doing. Unlike the pasts where i have 2 bosses that will inform me if something happens now i will have to think about every step i take. Who is friend and who is foe? i will have to make my own judgement with minimum information. what is the best strategy? currently i work on this objective " Do less, less problem. Less talk, less mistake. minimum decisions, minimum issues."
Do only what is asked of you. nothing more nothing less. Make fiends and sleep with the enemy. less enemy, less danger, more information. Man i am totally a coward now. Every time i tie my tie at work i put on an invisible mask which hurts my heart and press down on my emotion. I hate lifes like this and sometimes my poor family member will have to get it from me when i can handle my emotion.
I am now a worn out man. i need a new job to recharge myself. I cant leave without a job because there are 2 more people that will die of hunger with me. I will survive. If you have such experience do share with me. i wanna learn from everyone too

My daughter is reeeaaalllyyyyy growing real fast
Well, still remember the day when the doctor put her in my arms i was so afraid that i might hurt her. i still remember the happy tears my wife shed during that time. it was a very touching moment and she was so peaceful in her slumber.
Now, its already 14months since that day. she is all grown up. from the stage where she cant really open her eyes well to making noises, to crawling, to walking in a baby walker and now running around the house. Now she can really walk. Climbing upstairs, coming downstairs and the worst part... Climbing on chairs! can you believe it?
She is a girl... she is not supposed to climb on chairs and chasing after balls! but anyway she also have the girlish side. She play dolls! she also knows how to "sayang" dolls. Honestly i am really happy that she grew up well.
I made a promise to myself that i will surely make sure she grow up as a good girl. She need not be too intelligent but she must be well mannered.

You guys had read many stories of how cunning the wolf is from my blog. Now I would like to share my observation of the wolf and how she manages to successfully steal credits all the time. For those you would like to be the wolf and learn from her, be my guest but be prepared to lose your friends.
For those that would like to learn from this experience and avoid these problems, well I can only tell you how she does it but not how to prevent it. It is because I wasn’t able to prevent it that causes me to be in craps like these. Do share with me you methods as I am in need of help.
The Lions had decided to plan 2 major projects. One is project is to franchise our jungle while the other is an event to advertise our jungle. Since the wolf is smart, the wolf had taken these projects to boost her trust with the lions but with a catch.
The wolf will not want to bear responsibilities as these projects are crucial and important if she wants to become a tiger. These projects are new and very risky. Like people said, “no pain, no gain”. Therefore the higher the risk, the better the credits.
Now the important thing is to be part of the project and do not be part of the risk. In order to realize this dream, the wolf came up with a cunning plan by making people into sacrificial goats. The wolf made the ostrich and the piggy project leaders. She tells ostrich and pig that they will have to plan the whole project and she will play an active role as a consultant.
Now how do we play this game? Simple. After this, the wolf just has to say everything that is in her mind and let piggy and ostrich decide. This is how it works:-
Scenario 1: What The wolf said is used and the program is successful
Wolf will tell the lions “Lucky Piggy or ostrich listen to my idea. I am sure that it will be beneficial for the company if we do that.”
Scenario 2: What the wolf said is used and the program is unsuccessful
Wolf will tell the lions “I will tell piggy and ostrich that they had done a major mistake. Hopefully they will not repeat the mistake. Anyway I already told them to think before they decide on any decision.”
Scenario 3: What the wolf said is not used and the program is successful
Wolf will tell the lions “It’s a good thing that piggy and ostrich did discuss with me. We have lots of brainstorming and this is the end result.”
Scenario 4: What the wolf said is not used and the program is unsuccessful
Wolf will tell the lions “I already told them to XXXX but Piggy and ostrich do not listen. Boss, I am sorry that I am unable to make them see my point of view and my concerns. Anyway next time I will make sure they listen to my advise”
That is not all that need to be done. During the process, The wolf will have to constantly take part actively in the projects. She will have to understand what piggy and ostrich is doing and then report them to the lions. Besides that, wolf will also have to propose proposals on their behalf.
Placing eyes and ears in the project committee is also crucial. For piggy’s team the dog had been assigned to be the co leader so that the wolf can pressure the dogs since the dog is her subordinate. On the other hand, the hyena had been assigned to ostrich. After this, the wolf will just have to get information from her subordinates and pressure her employees to do things as her wish.
Next... from time to time, the wolf will ask piggy or hyena to assign tasks to her employees. You see this way she can tell the lions that it is her department that does most of the job. Well it is a proven fact that she will do that. There are many times where others did 90% of the job and her department did 10% of the job but she said as if that only her department that did all that.
So these are all the steps that she took just to steal credits. The wolf should use the time that she used to think how to steal credits to some better use. Any way I am very Fxxked up with her.

You guys had read many stories of how cunning the wolf is from my blog. Now I would like to share my observation of the wolf and how she manages to successfully steal credits all the time. For those you would like to be the wolf and learn from her, be my guest but be prepared to lose your friends.
For those that would like to learn from this experience and avoid these problems, well I can only tell you how she does it but not how to prevent it. It is because I wasn’t able to prevent it that causes me to be in craps like these. Do share with me you methods as I am in need of help.
The Lions had decided to plan 2 major projects. One is project is to franchise our jungle while the other is an event to advertise our jungle. Since the wolf is smart, the wolf had taken these projects to boost her trust with the lions but with a catch.
The wolf will not want to bear responsibilities as these projects are crucial and important if she wants to become a tiger. These projects are new and very risky. Like people said, “no pain, no gain”. Therefore the higher the risk, the better the credits.
Now the important thing is to be part of the project and do not be part of the risk. In order to realize this dream, the wolf came up with a cunning plan by making people into sacrificial goats. The wolf made the ostrich and the piggy project leaders. She tells ostrich and pig that they will have to plan the whole project and she will play an active role as a consultant.
Now how do we play this game? Simple. After this, the wolf just has to say everything that is in her mind and let piggy and ostrich decide. This is how it works:-
Scenario 1: What The wolf said is used and the program is successful
Wolf will tell the lions “Lucky Piggy or ostrich listen to my idea. I am sure that it will be beneficial for the company if we do that.”
Scenario 2: What the wolf said is used and the program is unsuccessful
Wolf will tell the lions “I will tell piggy and ostrich that they had done a major mistake. Hopefully they will not repeat the mistake. Anyway I already told them to think before they decide on any decision.”
Scenario 3: What the wolf said is not used and the program is successful
Wolf will tell the lions “It’s a good thing that piggy and ostrich did discuss with me. We have lots of brainstorming and this is the end result.”
Scenario 4: What the wolf said is not used and the program is unsuccessful
Wolf will tell the lions “I already told them to XXXX but Piggy and ostrich do not listen. Boss, I am sorry that I am unable to make them see my point of view and my concerns. Anyway next time I will make sure they listen to my advise”
That is not all that need to be done. During the process, The wolf will have to constantly take part actively in the projects. She will have to understand what piggy and ostrich is doing and then report them to the lions. Besides that, wolf will also have to propose proposals on their behalf.
Placing eyes and ears in the project committee is also crucial. For piggy’s team the dog had been assigned to be the co leader so that the wolf can pressure the dogs since the dog is her subordinate. On the other hand, the hyena had been assigned to ostrich. After this, the wolf will just have to get information from her subordinates and pressure her employees to do things as her wish.
Next... from time to time, the wolf will ask piggy or hyena to assign tasks to her employees. You see this way she can tell the lions that it is her department that does most of the job. Well it is a proven fact that she will do that. There are many times where others did 90% of the job and her department did 10% of the job but she said as if that only her department that did all that.
So these are all the steps that she took just to steal credits. The wolf should use the time that she used to think how to steal credits to some better use. Any way I am very Fxxked up with her.

A: No, not at all. Wine is made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine. That means they take the water out of the fruity bit so you get even more of the goodness that way. Beer is also made out of grain. Bottoms up!
Anyway, 1% of traffic accidents are caused by drunk drivers. So people who don’t drink are very dangerous because they cause 99% of traffic accidents.
Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?
A: Well, if you have a body and you have fat, your ratio is one to one. If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc.
Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program?
A: Can't think of a single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No Pain ... Good!
Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?
A: YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!!! .... Foods are fried these days in vegetable oil. In fact, they're permeated in it. How could getting more vegetables be bad for you?
Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?
A: Definitely not! When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger.You should only be doing sit-ups if you want a bigger stomach.
Q: Is chocolate bad for me?
A: Are you crazy? HELLO … Cocoa beans! Another vegetable!!!It's the best feel-good food around!
Q: Is swimming good for your figure?
A: If swimming is good for your figure, explain whales to me.
Q: Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle?
A: Hey! 'Round' is a shape! Well, I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets.
And remember: 'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand, chocolate in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, 'WOO HOO, what a Ride!'

The narrow escape of the piggy from the cunning wolf
You often heard people saying that “it’s a jungle out there”. I truly agree with this statement. Its often seen that there are many “wild beasts” who tries to kill you for survival. In order to survive this jungle, you will have to be wilder than those beasts.
Many of us are not wild by nature, but due to situational matters, we had been trained to become one. Let me share with you a story of a poor piggy (me) who lives in a wild jungle (my company). Here are some stars of the story
The wolf : Jxxe Txx (in charge of leaflets and recruitment)
The Lion King: king of the company
The Lion Queen: Queen of the company
Royal Brother Lion: Brother of the king

This story happens about a year ago. Piggy had been assigned to handle a fair. The lions gave piggy an objective of doing the fair at a low cost. Bearing the objective in mind, the pig creatively organized the fair with a very low cost. No money is spent to decorate the booth.
Then one day, the lions came to visit the booth and they looked happy about it. The lions even enjoyed their stay there. The Lions even told piggy to redo this activity next year and secure 2 booths. Unfortunately the wolf envy of this success started to condemn the booth.
The wolf complained to the lions that the booth looks ugly and gave a bad image to the jungle. The Tiger heard this and told piggy. The poor piggy, knowing that there is nothing much he could do about this matter, ended up as a scapegoat for the wolf’s desire of recognition
The wolf even told the lions that “piggy should come and ask my opinion. I used to do lots of fair and have many ideas to share.” Piggy remembered this statement until this year and proposed to the lions that the wolf should take up this project.
Now, since the tiger is no longer in the jungle, the wolf threw this project back to the pig which the pig have to accept. The wolf creatively said “ This design of the booth should not be done by her department. They are catalogue designers not interior designers.
NOTE: remember what the wolf said last year? She said she could do a better job but the totally ignored that statement. She even threw the project back to piggy!
So the wolf got out of it this time. The pig kept thinking if he should remind the lions what the wolf said last year. Anyway, knowing the lions will not do much about this matter and piggy is not hitting the wolf where it really hurts the pig decided to remain silent on this matter. I have my revenge when the opportunity comes.

Being very well known for his sense of fashion, the stork too up the challenge and work very hard to create and design a beautiful catalogue. The stork even does many hands on of ensuring the catalogue is a success.
So comes the day of proposal. The Stork let the wolf to present his work and the lions loved the idea. Even all the animals in the jungle loves the storks ideas and creativity. The problem is the wolf said this statement during the presentation “We who are in charged of catalogues worked day and night to make this possible”.
You see even though the stork is there the wolf don’t bother and just took the credits like that. Knowing that the stork wont say much to take the credit back the wolf took the opportunity.
Later than day, the piggy saw the stork very depressed and asked why. Though very reluctant at first, the stork finally told the pig what happen. That is how the pig know this story. Although the stork done all the work, it is the wolf who get all the credits. The worse part is the Lions believed her
