Building an Alchemist Brewing/Homunculus/Acid Terror

For this type of Alchemist, the merchant stage is the most troublesome. You see usually merchants will have STR/DEX/AGI but in order to produce the above mentioned alchemist, you will need lots of intelligence.

The intelligence that you get is to increase the damage of Acid terror. While you are an alchemist, maybe you would like to stay with a battle alchemist in order to speed up your leveling speed. While being an alchemist, you do not have Acid demonstration and therefore you seldom use the skills.

My personal advice is to create a battle alchemist first. When you are at transcended class (Creator) then you create the acid Demo alchemist.

My personal experience is as below:- (DEX/INT alchemist)
My alchemist stats (without equip)

STR - 34+5
AGI - 1+6
VIT - 23+3
INT - 93+7
DEX - 91+9
LUK - 5+0

The Beginning…
If there is anything that will cause anyone to give up on using an alchemist it must be when they are still at merchant stage. You see when you are at the merchat stage, yu have no other skills other than mammonite and Cart revolt to assist killing mobs. To make matter worse, you are developing an DEX/INT merchant.


At this stage, my only advise is to leech leveling. without leech leveling basically you cant do anything. Leech with a mage and things will be alot different.


How to level?

If you have fire blend, use firebolt on mobs who are afraid of fire such as wolf, skeleton, SS, GEO. since i am an INT/DEX char, my casting is fast and damage is ok. Try this strategy


If you have ice falcon, then kill fire element creatures which is more difficult to find. try creatures like zerom

if you have Light Epsilon then you can also try to heal bomb undead.

While i was a merchant, i spend most of my time leeching. when i start, i kill spore with a wind dagger. during that stage i pump more dex because it increases damages. until a certain level, i started kill wolf. then i created another mage and uses the mage to leech me at the wolf map.

When my mage is at level 30-40+ we started to leech at geographer. using fire bolt, this are easier. GEO gives lots of job exp and you will be able to turn to alchemist in no time. i did waited until job lvl 50 before i change class.

to be faster, change job at level 40. the moment you have a homunculus leveling is like a piece of cake.
