KEEP your house SAFE for your KIDS!!!

Here is another unfortunate event happened on a kid. read more here (http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2013/1/23/nation/12612642&sec=nation). What is wrong in this world today. there are so many accidents.

For this accident i think its the parents' fault. look at the TV rack below its so unsafe! Don't talk about kids shaking it, even adults might accidentally knock the TV down with their butt... Plus, its reported that this is not the first time the boy shake the rack. Extra attention is required when we knew it would happen.

 

 

Anyway the boy is gone. No point blaming anyone for this. Again lets take this as a reminder to all parents to try as much as possible to make our home safe. Never allow your kids to play with anything dangerous.

 

Well below are some precaution i had taken. I am sure there are more. If any reader have any extra ideas please let me know at the comments. I hope to make my house safer for my 5 years old and 1 year old kid.

1. Never allow my kids to climb the stairs alone (especially the one year old)
2. No had one any electrical sockets. i will tell them every time they touch it.
3. never go to near a tv (its also bad for their eyesight)
4. Door stopper at their playroom
5. poisonous, sharp and harmful items are kept out of reach
6. stick safely rubbery thingy it the sharp edges of any furniture
7. forbidden to use anything that could ignite flames
8. No jumping on sofa and beds. Even my bed is the japanese style type which is a very low bed

Well thats all i could think of now. Let me know if there are any more items which could cause harm to my kids.

 



Lost Kid

You know Malaysian parents tend to have a very bad habit of leaving their kids in the car unsupervised. It may be just for a minute or 2 but i think this is a habit that every responsible parents need to break.

Now only god knows where he is. i sure pray for William's safety. He must be trembeling in fear right now as we speak. Just thinking about would make anyone heartache. i am sure the most heartbroken person must be his parents

Lets take other's unfortunate events as a reminder for ourselves to protect our kids. I promise i will never leave my kids unsupervised especially in public areas. If my wifey is reading this please do so too although you never done it. Let take is as a reminder.

Big boss with hearing ability or small boss who is deaf. Good words hurts the ear and bad bosses hurts your career

Now continuing what I left off in the last article, my Malaysian boss is the big boss in Malaysia but my company have bigger share holder which is based in Indonesia. Now the idiot is sent from Indonesia to monitor finance here.

Now my boss being afraid to lose his job here, always bias towards the idiot because she has value. She could speak of good things in Malaysia on my boss’s behalf since she is a spy. The idiot also requires my boss’s protection because she does not want to go back or be sent to other country so there is mutual benefit here.

My boss also cut off all communication with Indonesia from us. Only my boss, idiot and miss yap have communications with Indonesia. This makes it easier to control wrong information from reaching the Indonesia bosses.

My boss is very tactical. Everything he does is for the benefit for his own good. No one else matter. There was once before miss yap resign, I could see that my immediate superior almost became a scapegoat for low sales but miss yap’s resignation saved him. Well because no one else knows how to do certain job which my immediate superior knows. So how? My boss press hard on his balls and be patient lah!

Anyway, nasty bosses are everywhere. I really think that only nasty bosses can make good money. My wife has a good boss but every employees are like shit. I have a nasty boss but the employees are great. My wife’s company is small and difficult to progress because of lousy employees. My company is big but cant progress because of a deaf boss

Having written until here, I now had tone down my anger. I really hope I could control my temper for the rest of the day because I don’t want my wife and daughter to get it. I promise myself I will not lose my calm today. Hope all will be over soon when I get a new job

Why so honest you stupid fool?

Well I learned a lesson today. Never be too honest to your boss. He may think you are challenging him. Now here is a story

Last Monday in the weekly meeting, I told my boss that I need to know more on how salary is calculated in my company. For your information I seriously do not know this. We have 2 salary calculation period. Our claims including our monthly allowances are calculated from 16^th of month1 to 15^th of month 2 and being paid on end of month 2. Our wage period is from the 1^st of the month to the end of the month.

Of course as an employee, we are confused especially when you don’t have an SOP. At the very minimum the Human resource should at least explain to new comers like me. Now at the meeting I asked the question and I request that it should be in written (to avoid problems like miss yap in earlier stories) but the boss told me to ask her verbally

This morning I received this ridicules email from an idiot:-

Dear Lee,

With regards to your enquiry on the brought forward taxable fix allowance for the period 16 - 31 Dec 2010.

Again, as per inform & highlights in the Jan 2011 Sales meeting, fix allowances are suppose to be treated as part of your taxable income. However, company has bear the tax all this while.

Dear My immediate boss,

Please ensure that your team are aware & cleary understood with this matter.

Problem with the above mail:-

1. Paragraph one: you think this is an official written answer? My…my… you really are an idiot

2. Paragraph two: The company borne our taxes? Oh please its not like you paid extra

3. Paragraph three: what is clear? Can you make it clearer for me first before I make it clear to my staffs?

Now this is my reply

Dear Idiot,

I totally agree to this change as it is the correct way to do it. All these while, it is not deducted from us but it was not borne by the company because it was just treated as claims. The company did not bear any additional tax. Not only the company did not pay any additional charges, it also helps the company to save some taxes as the company expenses had raised and affects the profit and loss. Therefore if you did pay additional taxes please find out with the company secretary in regards to this matter.

As mentioned in the weekly meeting dated 21^st March 2011 evening, I my queries in regards to the salary calculations and all the deductions I hope I could get an answer from you as I must complete 2010 income tax once I receive EA from you. In order to refresh you memory in regards to this matter please find below the questions asked during weekly meeting

1. Is the allowances for 16^th to 31^st taxable?

2. How do you calculate salary during this transition time?

3. If its taxable, how do you deduct the tax from us?

4. Is our allowances still calculated from 15^th to 14^th every month?

5. If yes how do you calculate it?

6. If no, when is the transition period where changes had been made?

7. What are the formal announcement that had been made?

I hope you understand the urgency of this matter for individual employees. Just like managing the company accounts, every individual employees are required to manage their own accounts. Without any official announcement, it would be difficult to refer the matter to the higher authorities whenever required. Managing personal accounts requires highest attention just like how you manage the company accounts. Every little details requires prove and evident to be kept and the simplest form of evident is an official letter

Besides that, if any employees were to ask me in regards to this matter, I will never be able to answer.

A little side track off the main issue, please recall that besides the sales meeting nothing official had been told to the staffs including myself. All we know is starting January 2011 all allowances are taxable and no need to fill up in the personal reimbursement form. There is no memorandum stating this case nor any information on the changes of the new form until (my staff) filled up the new form. In this case, (my staff) also felt in doubt when he filled the new form and made the column by hand. This is the prove of confusion because our human resource did not make it official for the employees.

It is clear that employees are not the ones to be blamed. In order to reduce further misunderstanding which is for the good of the company and people within it, please make it official this time. As a matter of fact all employees are prepared for the tax but just do not know when and how to do it. Please do not make (my immediate superior) to tell us this information. Why allow us to listen from third party when you always have the accessibility to all your employees?

Anyway, Not long after my email is sent, my immediate superior got a call from my boss and he got f@#ked. Then I am requested to join a telephone conversation with my boss and now its my time to get F@#ked up. I don’t even have any opportunity to explain. Anyway the idiot was in the phone conversation as well. The whole conversation was one sided à towards the idiot.

Later the idiot was asked to leave the room and my boss tone down his voice. This time the conversation turn out to sound like a father nagging a child (less violent)

Out of sight, out of mind?

Do you remember how many friends you have? Can you keep track of that? Anyway I know many of us thinks that we are not like that (out of sight, out of mind) but do you seriously remember them all? If yes try to list them all down according the category:-

I know you may be able to break them down further but this is what I could do in 2 minutes. Anyway check out your facebook. From time to time you suddenly see a familiar face and add them to your friend list but do they remember you?

Since its been some time since we met someone, maybe they changed a lot. Remember the days when you were in schools? You have many friend doing something with you. You joke around, play around, skip school, visit them during festive season but now its been years since you last met them, could they remember you?

Over the years I had seen many changes. Some bad egg of the school turn out to be a very loving parent. Some of those very good boys turn out to be drinking and smoking in some bar or pub or worse in somewhere doing drugs. How are they now?

Recently one of my fellow colleague sent me an sms and I am extremely happy about it but I could not reply him. I was too busy with the S#*ts in the office. I am glad to receive his sms.

Now the thing is this, everyone is busy with something, what are the odds that you could gather all these friends together to update on each other’s news? What are the odds that all will turn up at the gathering? For this to happen, the odds are lower than hitting the big sweeps first prize + jackpot.

Seriously I miss the good old days. We were not appreciative then but now when you think back it’s a blessing. That the problem with people. When you have it, you don’t cherish it. Now that its gone you missed it. When you want to do something about it, its too late. HAHAHAH!- Humans…

Today’s apple polisher…

Do you remember those days when your mother asked you to study hard to ensure that you have a good future? Well all those are the things of the past. In today’s world intelligence might be useful but not as useful as apple polishing.

If schools would like their students to be able to get a good job in the future, be sure that they create a new class called bodek class… at practical exam, get them to polish a man with high pride. If he likes it then give them an A.

Many people in Malaysia benefited from having the polishing skills. Well I’ve seen many myself. Let me tell you one of many that I’ve seen before.

Now there is a lady from a foreign nationality was posted in my office as Finance Director. She had trained well at her polishing skills. If you ask me her job description, my answer is below

1. Feed boss’s favorite dog every morning.
2. At lunch be sure to feed the boss himself. Don’t pack food, cook for him. The best way to get to a man’s heart is through his tummy
3. Chat with the boss whenever possible
4. If anyone does any minor mistake, make it big and tell the boss
5. If you did any mistake, shut up and use your power to make everyone else shut up. Ensure that the news did not reach the boss
6. If required, make a scrape goat out of anybody to take the blame
7. If there is something that you forget to do even though after reminders, act naïve and say no one told you before. If there is a black and white, blame it on IT.
8. Make people’s life miserable. If they have a good life they will have time to plan for your downfall
9. Whatever the boss said just say yes. Don’t worry, its your subordinates that needs to do the job regardless if they like it or not.
10. When boss is complaining about anyone else, try to recall past wrong doings and increase the problem.
11. When an issue arises, don’t find solutions. Find who is at the fault and put him to the boss’s office
12. When boss praise a job well done accept the complement, otherwise say who did it
13. Cut cost. Cut toilet paper, cut water usage, cut electricity cut wages and cut bonuses.
14. Say that you will stay late to complete a certain task but put an idiot to do it after the boss left

Anyway I will write more if I could recall more. Every morning before she does any work, she will ensure that the dog is fed. Then make breakfast for the boss and go back to her room. In the room, continue to look busy at facebook.com. when boss is free, go to his room and talk nonsense

At lunch wait for boss for lunch. If possible cook for him. Never leave the boss’s sight. Do some job for the rest of the day. If there is some dirty job to be done, assign it to someone. If he rejects the task, tell the boss.

Everyone hates her. She knew it but the boss don’t. And my boss dare to tell me that its difficult to polish him and change his mind. My understanding? Its so damn easy

Boys and girls if you need to learn, just learn the basic of school education and practice more on apple polishing. You will gain more from it.

People used to say “Bullshit could take you higher but cant keep you there”. In today’s world, all you need to do is to have continuous bullshit everyday to maintain the momentum and stay high. When things go wrong, bullshit somewhere else. There are companies everywhere

Humans love to assume “making an ASS out of yoU and ME”.

I remember one of my boss telling me not to assume. It is always better to get solid facts before making any approach but the fact is, its natural for human to assume. Take for example do you wake up and see if the floor is exactly where you last seen it? See we never check if there floor is still there. We assume that its there when we woke up. Imagine the trouble we have to go through if we have to check if its there every morning.

Assuming is not always wrong. Everyone makes their own assumptions. Now here is another example; When I say “Car”, which car came into your mind? It carries different meaning to different people. My definition of car may be Suzuki Swift but my boss’s car may be Mercedes Benz. Here we already made assumptions.

Here is something I picked up from a book which I think kind of meaningful:-
“ A tidy desk shows a tidy mind”, now does this means an empty desk shows an empty mind? This example shows that humans tend to generalize things.

Anyway, frequently when we speak to bosses we always lose in the debate. Wanna know why? The reason is simple, when we speak to bosses, we need to prepare evidence to support our point & grounds but when they speak, no evidence is required. They have the right to assume all they want and we cant go and sound them “where is the evidence?”.

The boss’s mind had been blurred by their past achievements. They already have a mind set that their methods are correct. The evident is now (I am the boss you are my staff). This is evident enough to diminish all other evident. Now, they have the right to assume!

Why people assume? Because it makes life easier. By assuming, I do not need to look for supportive evident to prove my point. By assuming, I need not require so much time to look for my point. Well you may find hundreds of excuses for making assumptions.

Now I am at a point where I do not know whether if assuming is right or wrong. I’m sure there is no definite answer to this question. It all depends on situation. At some point, we have to assume to make life easier but on the other hand without assumptions are better.

Well it just seems that most bosses do not understand their staffs. Well I understand my staffs but I am not a boss… hahahaha… Anyway just blogging about my thinking. It might have bored many of you out there in this article. Comeone lah… don’t be too picky lah…

Blogging about sex & Malaysian English very kau lat

You know blogging about sex will always bring traffic to your blog. This is not a statement that I made up but its supported with documents. Try dailychilli for example. Their write-ups about sex have very huge feedbacks.

Anyway what I am more amaze is how Malaysians react to such write-ups. You see the Malaysian English is more sophisticated compared to normal English. We have multi-racial combinations towards the comments and it really makes the comments worth reading.

Funny in one sense but some are also true. The commenter really made my day. I was alone at my cubicle reading those comments and started laughing about all the comments. That had caused me to comment as well.

I read several write-ups but what really captured my attention is their write-up about “Sex twice a week keeps men healthier” (http://www.dailychilli.com/news/1785-sex-twice-a-week-keeps-men-healthier), “10 places where women want to be touched” (http://www.dailychilli.com/news/554-10-places-to-touch-a-women ), and “Why Should you have sex everyday” (http://www.dailychilli.com/news/1084-why-you-should-have-sex-everyday ). These are evidence that blogging about sex will increase traffics. Hey, today these are the most emailed article leh!

The write-up is nothing uncommon. The commenter are more lively. The usage of Malaysia English is very much not in the dictionaries. It’s a mixure of Chinese Dialects, Malay words and some metaphors that only Malaysian will understand.

Anyway I think I should write more about sex since its getting more attention. Maybe this way, I would get more traffic to my blog?

The increase of “Buang Anak” cases

Have you every wondered why people are willing to conduct such inhumane task such as killing their baby or just let them rot by the streets. These babies are innocent and they have done nothing wrong to deserve such inhumane acts.

As a father, I seriously feel that they are losing the chance of seeing their baby grow. Surely there are times when you feel that they are a nuisance but there are also times where you are glad to have them.

Anyway I had been thinking what are the reasons that caused these parents to do so? Culture? Social pressure? Money? Well you should think of the side effects when you do not conduct safe sex. Regardless what the reasons are, throwing your babies are always not an option.

I am not only against buang anak. I am also against abortion. I knew that recently Malaysia had developed some sites to allow parents to pass their babies to safe hands. Though you might never see your baby again but at least you can ensure that they will be given a second chance to live regardless of what kind of life they might have. This option is always better than losing the chance at all.

I am happy having my baby to disturb my sleep and having my baby to stop me from smoking. Although its irritating but if you think back its kind of sweet when she suddenly run to your shoulders and hug you. When I am down, she sits patiently next to me and patting my head as if I am the baby and she is my mother.

If I had threw her away, I would never have such experience. Now even the thought of losing her hurts me so much that I would shed a tear.

One thing for sure is there had been increase in regards to buang anak cases and abortion cases. Will harsh sentence in terms of law help the decrease? I don’t think so. Just take a look at our drug trafficking sentence which is many times harsher and scarier but yet it still happens.

We need to find the root cause for the problem. From my opinion, it may be due to social pressure which caused it. These parents do not want to be the laughing stock of the public where some auntie on the streets will look at them and pointing their fingers to them and say all kinds of words.

Another cause of the problem might also be due to religion. I had been observing some people who laugh at people who skipped fasting during the fasting months. You see I don’t see the problem of the person who skipped fasting because he/she is working in an environment which hinders him/her from fasting. Example labourer, chef or iron casting industry. If they do not eat, they will die… seriously. By the way, what happens if they don’t fast? If the person don’t feel like fasting, the sin will be on them not you. Why bother and laugh at people? My point is, if someone decided to give birth without any marriage, so be it. If you laugh at them, you are enticing them to do a bigger sin such as buang anak or abortion.

Other reason which I could think of is financial problem. Parents might be too poor to sustain the life of their baby. Therefore I support the government’s move to allow parents to put their baby in those shelters. I am sure someone will be willing to adopt them or even if they are not adopted, these babies could contribute or payback their debts to the shelter by working and support the shelter which they grew up in. Of course parent’s details should be confidential to avoid future problems

The best way is always be responsible. Every action will have a chain of reactions. Anyway I do not have any authority to comment on the topic. I just felt that its wrong to do so and so just wanna blog about it. Please do not feel offended about what I say. Just some comment.

Peacefully alone… Thinking about life

Like many would think, being left alone is a bad thing. For me, I am enjoying it. Its been 5 years since I last being left alone to do my own things. Today I am glad that it is my turn to have such opportunity.

I came to work and had lots of time to stay put and do nothing. Though some people will come and meet me from time to time but I am not needed in any meetings. I do not require to handle projects and I don’t use much brain power.

All I have to do now is to settle whatever tasks which is incomplete. I am also required to handover my uncompleted businesses to my fellow colleagues… (poor people). Lol

It is a good day. I woke up nicely this morning and feel glad I am still alive… Despite the fact my daughter woke me up 4 times for milk yesterday. Even though I woke up late, I did not rush to work and the traffic was not congested at all. I arrive 2 minutes late. I also have a nice good morning kiss from my wife and daughter…

When I left home, my daughter said bye bye to me. When I reached office few colleagues said good morning to me and until not anyone bothered me for big problems. It is a great day.

After years of struggling, I finally found peace at workplace. Maybe because there are no new tasks that would upset my plans. I am really getting old fast. I honestly feel like an old man looking for peace at mind.

I had been wondering what will be waiting for me at the new company? Like their industrial name describes Fast Moving Consumer Goods I am sure this organization will surely work at high pace and will not have any time to think and look for peace. Anyway, the pay is good and if I am busy, my wife & daughter could have a better life. Its is definitely worth it.

I had realized few of my wife’s dreams but I know I will not realize more than this if I continued getting the petty salary I am getting. If this risk or big hop means more joy, more happiness for my family I don’t care if it brings me more stress.

People loves to say, money is not everything but without money you cant do anything. Money cant buy happiness I know, but without money you cant buy anything but suffering. My wife and I don’t wish for a very wealthy life but to a minimum we must have the capability to enjoy life such as traveling. If I spend every penny I earn everyday, we will never have such life.

I hope I can allow my wife to retire early and live life as a housewife. I hope she can enjoy her life and stressless. I can bear all her burden. Better 1 man sorrow than 1 family sorrow. I cant pluck the moon from the sky for her but at least I could put the reflection of the moon on her palm. Hope it will be as good as having the moon on her hand.

Looking forward to be home with her tonight. I am also looking forward for a nice dinner at Fairies Café with my boys Au Yeong & Nic. They have been very supportive subordinates and very good friends of mine.

Just like how Jason & Adrian treated me as a child, I take them like my child. To goorm them for better future just like Jason & Adrian did. Not to mention Joanne, Frances, Sally and other leaders who had once lead me before

All about condoms

For a start, some people had been asking me where is the Durex advert that I had been saying? Well, its not always there. The advert sometime there and sometimes not, just like Chipsmore.

Anyway back to my topic, I’ve checked wikipedia regarding condoms and to my surprise, it’s a whole lot of information. Who would have guessed that condoms could be used in many ways and so much history in it.

Lets start with some background of the subject. Condoms have histories dated back over 4 centuries ago. The most basic use of it is for pregnancy prevention and also to avoid STD (sexually transmitted disease). Well until here most of us might have knew about it. Its waterproof, durable and elastic. I am sure you knew it too.

The most common material used is latex but some are made from polyurethane, polyisoprene, or lamb intestine. Some history check also shows that in the ancient days, the Chinese used oiled silk paper as condom (glans: a device only covers the top of the penis) or lamb intestine. (Yucks, imagine your sex partner is also doing it with a lamb intestine). In japan, tortoise shell and animal horn is also used. (I could not imagine whether your partner is having sex with you or the animal horn and shell. They are so hard and you might not feel anything.)

Despite the benefit of birth control and avoiding STD, some religion were against the use of condoms. They believe that its immoral to use them. Some also believes that its good to have STD around because it’s the karma for random sex.

Over the years, condoms had been improved in many ways. Today, condoms are more reliable, and also thinner (you can feel more now!)

In March 2003, Switzerland announced that they will produce smaller condoms called “hotshot” specially made for boys aged 12 – 14 years old. (huh, sex at 12? Lucky boys)

Types of Condom:
1) Latex (rubber)
- Most common
- Elastic
- ISO (ISO 4074 Natural latex rubber condoms)
- Used with lubricants ; reduces rubber elasticity
- With Vytex (to remove 90% of proteins responsible for allergy reactions)
2) Synthetic (non-rubber man made)
- Commonly made from polyurethane.
- Other materials: AT-10 resin, polyisoprene
- Better than latex due to better heat conduct, less sensitive with temperature, longer shelf-life, less allergenic, does
not have odor, no protein
- Cons compared to latex: less elastic (more likely to slip & break), more expensive
3) Lambskin
- Good: more sensation
- Bad: Pores on the material allows STD to happen, less allergenic compared to latex, expensive, pores large enough to allow sperm to pass through
4) Spermicidal
- Added with spermicidal, nonoxynol-9
- Study shows that condoms lubricated with spermicidal has no additional benefit in birth control
- Have shorter shelf life
- May cause urinary-tract infections in women
- With frequent use of Nonoxynol-9 increases the risk of HIV transmission

- Targeted on G-spot & frenulum
- Studded condoms should be avoided because some women experience irritation during intercourse

There are also female condoms in the market where the condom is worn by women. Well I had never seen one before in the market. So its difficult to imagine how to use them

Other uses:
1) Infertility treatment
a. A procedure to encourage child birth for those who may have problem
b. To reduce women’s natural anti-sperm antibodies
c. However no proven clinical test that it could improve pregnancy rate
2) non-lubricated condom over the muzzle of the rifle barrel in order to prevent barrel fouling by keeping out detritus
3) Covering virginal ultrasound probe with a condom reduces the amount of blood and vaginal fluids that the technician must
clean off between patients
4) Hold water during emergency situation
5) Smuggle drugs and cocaine to place the drug in the rectum.
6) Cover microphone to make underwater recording
7) Condoms are used by engineers to keep soil samples dry during soil tests
8) Condoms are used as a one-way valve by paramedics when performing a chest decompression in the field. The decompression
needle is inserted through the condom, and inserted into the chest. The condom folds over the hub allowing air to exit
the chest, but preventing it from entering

Now, the biggest problem now it’s the disposal. If you flush it, it clogs your toilet. If you throw it at the garbage disposal, the rodents will eat it as food. You throw into the sea, it will pollute the environment. What is the best way to dispose it? If you have any idea, feel free to write down some comments.

According to wikipedia, there is also some high-tech condoms in research but still yet to be introduced to the market. Things like spray on condoms or invisible condoms still have some problems to overcome. Well just see whatever future condoms might be.

Public speaking in Sunway Pyramid

It is Sunday, 28th June 2010. Kenny Lee (Which means me) were required to conduct a public speaking at EXPO kesedaran Franchise. It was a surprise to me because my company got to know that we were required to perform something at the Expo only about 1.5 week in advance.

Immediately, a team of employees were put into a room to brainstorm about the sketch and 2 dudes were selected by the bosses to conduct a quiz as performance. Our objective was a very difficult one. To conduct a performance which could pull people’s attention, make people understand our franchise program and do not involve much cost.

WOW! It was a miracle that we manage to go through the talk. My pal and I only rehearsed not more than 1 hour and we have to be on stage for 30 minutes.

It was kind of scary at first because when it was about our turn, there were no more than 10 audiences. The question is… WHAT CAN I DO TO PULL THE CROWD! The moment truth is here. The Emcee announced our company name. I was the first to go in. From the stage I could see no more than 10 pax looking up to me.

In order to make this a success I need more audiences. I am now totally lacking of attention and so I shouted to everyone in the mall. “For you guys who could hear my voice but could no see me, come over to the concourse area and I shall give you some prize”. With that, more people came and I am now more at ease.

I was some great time talking and playing up on the stage though I thought I look like an idiot. Hahaha. My manager commented that it was a great show and I really hope its true because I do not want look like an idiot.

NOW, I have some new thing to add to my experience. Talk show at public locations. Maybe I should venture to the entertainment industry. Lol. But anyway, I really think I did a good job because at the end of the talk, we have close to 50 people looking towards the stage. From the top I could see everyone’s eyesight was towards me. Besides that I also manage to ask a family from the 2nd floor to join the game. It was fun

Anyway, It was also a tiring day yesterday. It’s a good thing that when I got home at about 9pm, both my wife and daughter were not asleep. Since they are awake, I got to play and chat with them. It’s something like an energy recharge for me. I am glad I have them by my side.

Friday Night Movies: Karate Kid

Me, My wife & my daughter went for movies yesterday night (Friday night) for the movie karate kid. To our suprise, there are only so many people there when we got there. Honestly its suprisingly quiet.

Now that is the power of world cup. You will realize that most of those there are female. which in other words all the guys are stuck in some dude's home drinking beer and shouting their lungs out when the players get close of the goal. I am never a fan of football so i do not know what football fever is all about.

So while we were there, i bought popcorns and drinks while waiting for the movie to start. Even before i enter the cinema, i finish up my popcorns and drinks... hahahah it was meant to be taken during the movies.lol

So the movie started and the three of us got in. Next to me, seated 2 couples and seriously they are ANNOYING!!!. the bxxches could never shut up. she kept on talking and talking. Even a two year old know how to shut up during movies but it seems like my daughter is more matured than them

BEing a nice guy i did not Fxxk them up. Imagine my wife could hear them talking a few seats away from them.

Anyway this karate kid is an amazing movie. Its worth every penny spent. It could be better if the couples seated next to me knows how to shut up.

How my new home shall be: Paloma Bandar Bukit Raja

As mentioned in previous blog, i will be purchasing a house soon. Lets hope i will get the load i need approved and be able to realize another one of my wife's dreams.

It is developed my Sime Darby and from what i see, it will be a nice place to live in. Near to the house i purchased, there is a man made loke which i think will be a place for me and my family to take a leisure walk.

My house plan is type A1 which will look like the plan below. it has 3+1 bedrooms and its 24x75 which i think is able to sustain a family ofr maximum 4. (Now 3 family members)

When we were there to make a booking, the number of people waiting to purchase the house was scary. The show room was so filled that i have a hard time walking. Anyway when me and my wife went to see, we dont really have the intention to purchase.

But the more we see it, the higher the impulse he have to purchase. Hopefully we are not purchasing it impulsively. Till date i have not regretted my actions.

NOW GUYS! an advise for all the future married man... Remember to save up some money! without it you would not be able to buy one when the time comes. you will regret not saving enough just like i do. Now my wife & daughter will have to suffer with me. We wont have lots of spare money for entertainment. The lucky thing is my wife dont mind to suffer along with me. Thanks Chloe... Sorry Chermaine!

Best approach to use credit card

During my conversation with my boss today, he also shared how rich people use the loop holes in credit card to delay the payment. According to him, they have at least 2 credit card in use and this is how they use it.

The users will have 2 credit card. For example, 1 credit card statement cut off at the beginning of the month, the other at the end of the month. Next, each card is marked with their statement date; for example, card 1 = 5th of the month, while the other 20th of the month.

Now they will use the card which has a different cut off date. If today is 10th, they will use card 1 to do any purchase. If its 2nd, they will use card 2. this way they could prolong the delay and avoid being charged the interest. These approach allows them to have approximately 50 day to do the payment without penalty.

How do they get 30 days? 30 days for card usage, 20 days for payment. This approach helps hardcore card users to prolong their credit and maximize usage. It will take great discipline to control usage so that users do not overspend

Again I would like to emphasize how rich people get richer. As you can see these people despite the fact that they are rich, they are able to find ways to reduce cost of each usage. The moral of the story is, we need to control money usage to increase saving. Just saving is not enough. We need to find how the money flows in every transaction and manipulate their loop holes.

The best approach is never there. It requires your understanding on how things work and using one’s creativity to manipulate the loop holes. Today my interest on money raised dramatically as I saw how bosses use their money. Maybe if I have time, I will try to research how money works and try to find some ways that best suit my way of spending.

Now I know that my spending method is one that could never make me rich. I need to find the best approach for myself. Lets hope I will be able to do it. Maybe I could share here in my blog if works.

The ABC of Housing loan in Malaysia.

Who would have known that we could actually make money with money? Anyway during cigarette break just now, I asked my boss about home loan since I would be purchasing one. For me, it is better to know more from him because he has many experiences in purchasing property.

He shared with me on home loans and covered the basics. Some basics are BLR-2.1% is considered acceptable and use a mortgage loan. Now for readers who will be buying property for the first time let me explain more in detail about these because I don’t know myself until I asked.

BLR = Government announced interest rate
Therefore, the higher the number the better it is. For example, BLR minus 2.1% = 2010 BLR for Malaysia is about 6%. Therefore your interested is 6-2.1= about 4%. If the bank offer higher BLR minus package, the better it is for purchasers.

Mortgage loan = Put more money, less interest payable amount but could be withdrawn when needed. Committed amount (monthly installments) will be deducted and could not be withdrawn.

My boss shared that the mortgage loan could help to safe money. Take a look at the current fixed deposit percentage in Malaysia is at about 3%. But after deducting the BLR, we actually could save about 1% of interest ( (BLR 6%- 2%) – fixed deposit 3%). So if you have extra money, place it in the loan to reduce the interest rate and save 1%.

Another tip he shared is if you relatives don’t mind to place the money in your loan, you can put more money in the mortgage loan and free yourself from interest. The money could be taken back anytime, so its better than fixed deposit. The interest growth you can pay them at 3% and from there you save 1% interest. Usually bank will earn the 1% now why not you earn it. The problem is every month you have to calculate the 3% interest and pay back to the owner.

Well the conversation enlightens me about how rich people got richer. They think a lot about all the loop holes to make money or reduce paying. With this, I learned that I should understand more about money and brush up my skills at calculations. Well I think that’s what I should do

Now its official... My blog will no longer have any stories about office... Why? simple... Its because there are many spies... That's why i have not been updating much... There are many stories that i would like to share but no... no more! no more blogging about real office life

A night at Highland Hotel Mandarin Suite

I never thought i will be staying at a suite when my company invited me to witness my boss's award ceremony. Anyway i am. Few gentlemen along with myself share this suite with one f our director. It is a secial suite for Platinum vard members.

This place is huge. it has 2 rooms, 1 hall and 3 bathrooms. i is beautiful with a i think 30++ inch lcd at the hall. It was beautiful bt of course costly to stay.

The room i was staying is know as mandarin suite where its design is more chinese. i am not sure how the other rooms look like but i am very sure that it will be like what their name suggests.

Well i do eremember suites like hollywood suite, malaysian suite, and many more. You know only 5 of us re staying in this suite. glad to be here this year

The view from the room was also facinating. I get the same view when i was in the toilet. Though it was only one day but it was great
